There will be two writing task and they need to be completed in time.
Part 1 - In this task, you will be provided with a graph table, chart or diagram which needs to be explained in your own words. For example, if you see a woman making tea in the diagram, you might be asked to describe the stages to prepare the tea. Or if you are given a table graph showing the increase in consumption of sugar with increase in population, you will need to explain that in detail in your own words. The word limit for this task is 150 words and the marks will be deducted if you write more than this limit. This task should be completed in 20 minutes.
Part 2 - In this task, you will be given a point of view, argument or problem, which will require you to write the response to it in your own words. The response given should be relevant to the view, argument or problem. Marks may be deducted if the answer is not relevant. The word limit for this task is 250 words which needs to be completed in 40 minutes.
General Training Writing also consist of two tasks which needs to be completed in 60 minutes but it is different from Academic writing in subject matter.
Part 1 - In this task, you will be given a situation which can be writing a letter or explaining situation. The response here is semi informal or informal and needs to be completed in 150 words in the answer sheet provided. The time limit for this section should be 20 minutes. Also, keep in mind that whatever you write, it should be relevant to the topic provided.
Part 2 - In this task, you need to write an essay in response to a point of view, argument or problem. The essays can be written from your personal experiences in semi formal language. The essay should be written in at least 250 words and should justify your opinion. It should take around 40 minutes to complete this task.
